In this book is 10 one hour coaching sessions and 30 individual practices that
can be adapted, swapped, chopped and changed for any age group, any
ability and different amounts of players in your team (5 aside, 7 aside or 9
aside).
These sessions were designed with inclusion and fun being the
main focus, while keeping a good level of technical challenges to improve
players without them being bored stood in lines waiting for their turn on the
ball!
Practices like this are a personal frustration of mine in football coaching,
especially at junior age groups, thats not to say that sometimes they are not
necessary or useful as we have wave sessions in this book.
Wouldn't you rather have a good knowledge of sessions that includes
everyone, at all times and maximises the amount of development for all
players?
The sessions provided in this book are general sessions that require minimal
equipment: cones, footballs and bibs, having goals doesn't hurt either.
Each session will have a suitable age group next to it but all of these sessions
can be adapted to ages 6 - 10.
